VPX:

VPX products are widely deployed in military and aerospace environments and Concurrent Technologies supplies a range of single board computers, switches, storage, XMC carriers as well as development systems.

Rugged variants are usually available based on a rigorous testing cycle to ensure reliability despite severe operating temperatures, shock, vibration, altitude and other environmental factors.

VME:

VME continues to be a well supported and widely installed bus architecture particularly in the defense market.

We offer a choice of Intel® processor-based VME boards designed for long life-cycle applications.

These high performance processor boards are complemented by a choice of switch fabric boards, XMC and PMC carriers, and mass storage modules.


XMC:

XMC modules are an ideal way to add functionality to modular, open standards based systems.

These mezzanine modules are about the size of an iPhone® and are plugged into compatible slots on a host processor or carrier board to create the perfect mix of functionality for specific applications.

XMC builds upon the success of the PMC standard by ensuring a common form factor but with higher bandwidth communications using PCI Express® interconnects.

CompactPCI:

Our range of 6U CompactPCI ® products provides the user with a choice of high performance, highly integrated slot controllers and peripheral controllers.

These boards use Intel® processor platforms for ease of programming and widespread availability over long life-cycles. 3U CompactPCI ® (CPCI) continues to be a popular architecture, particularly for transportation and defense applications. We offer a range of commercial and ruggedized processor boards based on high performance Intel® Core™ processors, or the lower power Intel® Atom™ processors.

1. Rhea – VME Processor Board

Concurrent Technologies “Rhea” VME board is a low power consumption VME board with a wide spread of I/O interfaces that has been designed for long life-cycle applications.

A brilliant replacement for existing systems with the latest generation processor from Intel®, we are continuing to provide an excellent VME option for our customers with a long life span for their wide variety of needs.

Both a 4-core and 2-core Atom x7000 processor options allow for both performance and power optimization, in addition 16 Gbytes DRAM with built in error correction allows for an increased memory integrity whilst ensuring precise data storage and enhancing reliability.

Easy to access controls with an I/O interface including SATA, USB, Ethernet, graphics, GPIO, audio and serial supporting a wide variety of legacy connections by default for a wide variety of needs at a glance.

2. Hermes – VPX Processor Board

Concurrent Technologies Hermes is a rugged 3U VPX I/O Intensive Plug In Card based on the 13th Gen Intel® CoreTM i7-13800HRE Processor and designed in alignment with the SOSA™ Technical Standard for I/O intensive processor PICs.

3. Condor GR2S-A4500

The Condor GR2S-A4500 is a rugged 3U OpenVPX video graphics and GPGPU processing card based on NVIDIA® Ampere architecture using the NVIDIA A4500 GPU. With 5,888 NVIDIA® CUDA® cores, 46 RT Cores (2nd generation), and 184 Tensor Cores (3rd generation), this SOSA-aligned 3U VPX solution is ideal for multi-intelligence applications involving low-latency data processing, EW (Electronic Warfare), DSP (Digital Signal Processing), AI-enabled target detection, Airborne ISR, and other autonomous sensor payloads.

4. TR E8x/msd – 3U VPX Processor

The Concurrent TechnologiesTR E8x/msd is a 3U VPX™ board based on the Intel® Xeon® processor E-2200 family, providing 6-core performance within the same Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) envelope compared to the prior TR E5x/msd board. A range of standard I/O interfaces are provided with an XMC expansion slot to add application specific I/O or an optional front panel module with DisplayPort, Ethernet, USB and serial connections. The TR E8x/msd supports a wide range of backplane profiles based on a PCI Express® (PCIe®) data plane fabric and optional PCIe expansion plane for flexible multi-board configurations. It is compliant with the VITA 46.11 system management specification and is particularly suited for command, control, communicate and compute applications.

SOSA aligned VPX

Concurrent Technologies Inc. is proud to be a member of the Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA™) consortium. The main aim of the SOSA architecture is to speed up and simplify the development and deployment of C4ISR systems based on open standards components.

These SOSA aligned systems are based on a multi purpose backplane that allows for easy reconfiguration of the VPX Plug In Cards (PICs) to create Electronic Warfare, Signal Intelligence, RADAR or other sensor based systems. Enabling future technology upgrades and reconfiguration are two key benefits of SOSA aligned solutions that will reduce the cost and extend the useful life of these platforms.
